About
I started streaming on Twitch in late 2023 (see my Twitch channel here) and kept a fairly regular schedule (about two evenings a week) until late 2024, so about a year. I've since put it on hold, and as of the time of writing this (October 2025), I still haven't started again, the reason being how busy I am, more than anything else. I will resume streaming again at some point, at which point this introductory paragraph will naturally be updated, but until then I wanted to actually make a page on my web site to plot down some ideas I have for streaming.
Better than to keep it all in my head!
Below is the text from my Twitch channel's About page, which pretty much sums up my style of streaming:
I like to showcase story-driven single player games. I also like to play completionist, meaning that I tend to watch every cutscene, explore everywhere, read everything (including flavor text), and so on.
I try not to talk over cutscenes, so if your message isn't answered, that's probably why. If a cutscene is particularly long, I'll pause it (if possible) to catch up with chat.
I edit most of the videos into Let's Plays for my YouTube channel. For this reason I take a small break between what will become different videos on YouTube.
I started streaming because I want to showcase the games I love and to allow people who otherwise wouldn't be able to play the games I showcase (whether for lack of money, time, or other reasons) to enjoy them. I could simply record videos offline to make Let's Plays and then share them on YouTube, but streaming is more fun!
A huge inspiration for my starting to stream is a gentleman by the name of Travis Whitsitt. He has two YouTube channels, one defunct at Travis Whitsitt and one active at TWhittyGames, in addition to his Twitch channel. I discovered him way back in, oh, 2005 or so (very rough guestimate) when I was looking for completionist playthroughs of the original Thief game (1999, not the 2014 reboot). I simply loved his style of playing games, and I've been following him ever since. (If you like thorough — and I do mean thorough — playthroughs, check him out!)
Even though he was a huge inspiration for me starting to stream, I'm trying to find my own style. I think I'm making progress.
If you are at all interested in following my streaming endeavor, check out my Discord server. I originally made it to make a small community of sorts for my Twitch adventure, and will be posting notifications for when I go live there, in addition to posting updates.
So what are my criteria for choosing games to play on stream? In no particular order:
- Games I love.
- Games I know well.
- Games that I think are interesting.
How do I like to play the games I stream?
- Completionist. I try to cover everything the game has to offer, including DLCs (but excluding trophies because they're often grindy).
- Non-blind. Although some games have been played blind, I've since decided I don't want to play blind, particularly puzzle games.
- Thoroughly. I like to explore every nook and cranny.
- Effectively. I aim to play the game in a way that is both efficient and enjoyable. Why waste your time?

Completed games
- Assassin's Creed: Mirage (PS5) [YT link]
About: A blind, completionist playthrough of Assassin's Creed: Mirage on the PlayStation 5. My very first completed playthrough. Since I played it blind there's quite a bit of fumbling about, but I'm sure I'll eventually do a proper playthrough.
Total length of playlist: 1 day, 22 hours, 30 minutes, 44 seconds
- Jusant (PS5) [YT link]
About: A non-blind, completionist playthrough of Jusant on the PlayStation 5. We finished the game in a reasonable amount of time, only missing a handful of collectibles that were collected at the very end of the game, courtesy of Chapter Select.
Total length of playlist: 5 hours, 32 minutes, 28 seconds
- The Talos Principle (PS5) [YT link]
About: A blind, completionist playthrough of The Talos Principle on the PlayStation 5. Since it's blind, there's a lot of fumbling around, making this playthrough longer and more convoluted than I'd like. This is my first blind playthrough of a puzzle game, and I think if I play another puzzle game on stream, I won't go in blind. I want to eventually make another Let's Play of this game, this time more streamlined.
Total length of playlist: 1 day, 23 hours, 34 minutes, 59 seconds
- Tomb Raider I Remastered (PS5) [YT link]
About: A non-blind, completionist playthrough of Tomb Raider I Remastered on the PlayStation 5. "Completionist" for this game doesn't mean "collect everything and kill everything," although I DO do that from memory, as best I can, and I DO give it as good a try as I can. But if I miss stuff, I don't sweat it. "Completionist" for this game means "explore everywhere."
Final stats:
- Time Taken: 05:31:16
- Secrets Found: 44 of 45
- Pickups: 346 of 357
- Kills: 292/295

- Tomb of Tihocan
- The Great Pyramid
That's 7/15, just under half the levels.
